Week 78 - 19th Week in Szeged

A long week...

The intro is a lot more foreboding than needs be but it has been a long week. The work is going well for sure. We have been really busy with programs all week, I am so tired but also really happy. In the next 2 months we will have 6 baptisms in Szeged! I am super pumped. Nov 28th Gabor, an 18 year old young man, will get baptized. He has been investigating for over a year now. Then the week after on Dec 5th there will be 3, Kriszti and Ildiko from our companionship and Erika from the other elders companionship. The next week will be a young girl Klaudia turning 8 that the sisters teach. Then the week after will be Niki an investigator of mine that we trusted to the other elders at the beginning of the transfer! things are going so good!

But I will be honest I am tired. My companion and I are doing good though we got into our first real disagreement this week which we were able to work out thankfully. Things are good here. I love Szeged it's my favorite city right next to Tatabanya. The people here are great and do so much to help. I am sad I am probably not going to be here for Christmas though but I can't wait to skype home with my family. But I just found out last night that I missed a call from home because my phone was off!!! (That's what you get for not charging your phone...) My sister just got home from the hospital last night and they wanted to call me to let me in on the home welcoming party but oh well I guess. Luckily Christmas is right around the corner. I am just glad that my sister is home, WAY TO GO NAOMI!!!

I miss you all back at home and can't wait to see you all soon. Jon you gotta write me some time and let me know how your doing and whether or not you have a girlfriend yet? Keep me updated on what's going on back at home and I also want to see Naomi's new room that got a make over too!

Love you all, have a great week!

Week 77 - 18th Week in Szeged

To one and all,

This has been a great week. The work is going great! This last week we almost had 25 solid hours of programs we have more than 20 people we are meeting with and honestly I am loving it! I finally got a picture with Klara my investigator who got baptized a few weeks ago. There were no pictures taken at the baptism unfortunately so we just took a new one, but I forgot my camera at home so I'll send it next week...

After Klara got baptized we had no more investigators with baptismal dates. But now we already have two new ones. One is a member's wife he just got married too. She is super awesome and progressing really fast. The other is a 22 year college student named Kriszti. She found us after years of watching Mormon video blogs! She is also super ready, though organized religion is still a little foreign to her. But the point is things are going well!

Last week on p-day we also got to go shooting (bows and arrows not guns). We also forgot to take our phone with us and found out the mission president tried to call us like 4 times oops... No problem though. I am looking forward to my package but I still haven't gotten my hands on it yet so we will see later.

By the way, Baby Lucy is so cute (my niece I haven't met yet)! I love you all back home and really miss you all!

Week 76 - 17th Week in Szeged

Well another week down,

Time is absolutely flying now. I can't believe how fast the time is going. This week has been great, the work is going so well now and the next week we already have 18 preplanned programs. We are busy! Our recent convert Klara is doing good, though we haven't been able to meet for a while but we will meet this week so I'll grab a picture with her!

In other news our investigator Kriszti is on bap date for Dec. 5th so we are pumped for that. I think she is serious and will go through as well. I am so pumped that the work is going so well. My companion is a good kid, even though sometimes unconventional. I love him though because he is honest with himself and with others about it for sure.

I miss home a lot now and think about you guys almost everyday. I pray for Naomi a lot as well. Its funny to see you guys got a cardboard cut out of me! LOL. Anyway short on time so gotta bounce, love you all!
